Donnar Memorial Inc. was started by Tim Donnar, as a small golf outing with a few friends. Each year, Tim would host a golf outing, with the proceeds benefiting several different cancer research foundations. Donnar Memorial was a way for Tim to honor his father and sister, after both passed away from cancer.
In 2008, DMI chose to partner with Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent in Indianapolis. Since then we have donated over $250,000 to the hospital, including a sponsored patient room makeover (The Reindeer Room). Our DMI volunteers also host four seasonal parties for the patients at the hospital every year, and the annual Christmas party at The Martin House for all oncology outpatients and their families.
